DNS Error Event ID 4011

Dns server is windows 2003 server, I am getting the following errors,
The DNS server was unable to add or write an update of domain name bmcmwp in
zone bmcmwp.local to the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory
is functioning properly and add or update this domain name using the DNS
console. The extended error debug information (which may be empty) is "". The
event data contains the error.

Do you get this error only at start up and do you have only one DC with DNS
installed?

Perhaps this error appeared at start up, I just got this error on Mar
29th,since then this server always doesn't restart . I have two DC, just this
frist DC with DNS.

Perhaps this error appeared at start up, I just got this error on Mar

just this frist DC with DNS.

All you need to do is install DNS on your second DC and add it as an
alternate DNS server. (Oh and don't restart the two DCs simultaneously)
Actually, it would be better for each DC to use the other for the Preferred
DNS and itself as Alternate. This way when you reboot the DC, the other DC
is already up and DNS is running.
When a DC boots and it only has itself for DNS, AD can't start without DNS
and DNS can't load the zone because AD has not started. (See the catch-22?)
Plus it takes what seems like forever for the DC to boot.

a zone, just install DNS, the zones will replicate before your eyes.
(Usually within 15 minutes.)
