Hi folks,

I´m running Dcdiag tests in my Active Directory Infraetructure.
When I run this, i get some erros:

Warning: 10.0.0.244 (dc1.domain.com.br.) [Invalid]
Error: all DNS servers are invalid
The A record for this DC was found
The SOA record for the Active Directory zone was found
The Active Directory zone on this DC/DNS server was found
(primary)
Root zone on this DC/DNS server was not found

"Above. It says that DNS is invalid. But it DNS is resolve query perfectly
to my network"

Below, a article found in microsoft site, that explain part of this. But the
answer to solve this problem is N/A

We need more details on your setup. Can you please provide the following
information:

1) Active Directory Domain name (from Active Directory Users & Computers
MMC)
2) DNS Forward Lookup Zones (in DNS MMC, expand 'Forward Lookup Zones', list
all zones)
3) IPCONFIG /all output from a problem machine and from a DC (an unedited
version - please do not make any changes)

Both 192.107.14.244 / 192.107.14.47 are DC´s and DNS Servers of my network.
The zone _msdcs.domain.com.br is in either servers.

I promoted the server 192.107.14.47 yesterday. When i promoted this server
to Domain controller, the zone _msdcs.domain.com.br was updated, so , now
there
is the following records in my DNS:

Are these the exact CName records?

These records should be:

One more thing I should have stated in my original reply, on the DNS tab of
TCP/IP properties, clear the check box "Append parent suffixes of the
primary DNS suffix"
This will aleviate any chance of it finding a wildcard record in the com.br
domain. I'm not sure if any exist, but it is common in the com.countrycode
domains.

Something is going on here dcdiag doesn't say why the DC names are invalid.

Let's see the results from netdiag /test:dns /v

If there are errors run netdiag /fix to see if it can clear them up. Then

follow the results on netdiag. The netdiag is too long to paste here.
How can I correct this errors showed below ?

Ok, i´ve changed the "Append parent suffixes of the primary DNS suffix" ,
forced replication and re-run dcdiag /v /e /test:dns and I get the following

I´ve installed netdiag/dcdiag of windows 2003 cd. (Support tools).
On microsoft site, there´s a version earlier that it. Or, is there a recent
version ? Could you send-me a link ?
